Elegantly decorate your home with the romantic and warm glow only available from natural candle light. A historic recreation of an antebellum original found in the Gamble Plantation in Ellenton, Florida, the only antebellum plantation house in surviving in Florida, our ratcheting candle stand harkens to simpler times when candles were relied upon for illumination and having a mechanism to effortlessly put the light were needed was a luxury to envy.
The ratchetting candle stand measures 24 inches tall (36 inches fully extended) and has a base that is 7 inched wide by 5 ½ inches deep giving it an elegant and stable design at any height. The candle holder and drip tray are hand made from copper using a historic metal working process known as spinning and feature a brown oil-rubbed aged and antique looking patina. Whether gracefully adorning your kitchen, office, living room, dining room, bedroom, or entryway, this candle stand makes a bold and historic statement.
Available in a selection of locally sourced North American hardwood only from KHK Woodworks and topped with antiqued solid copper hardware, their natural beauty will complement any décor. Multiple coats of a unique, custom, hand-rubbed finish gives each ratcheting candle stand a luster pleasing the eye and a softness that begs to be touched.
Custom designed by KHK Woodworks and following Shaker craftsman traditions, our ratcheting candle stands are unique and not available elsewhere making them a prized gift for that special person in your life.
