At KHK Woodworks, our focus is on quality. From the materials that we use to the tools and processes we employ in manufacturing our product line, we consistently sweat the details while handcrafting museum quality wooden keepsake boxes that all your treasures deserve. Each of our products are warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship for six months from the date of purchase.
Our products are made from natural materials. The following conditions fall outside of warranty coverage. Natural wood contains variations in grain and color which are to be expected. All wood products react to seasonal changes in ambient temperature and humidity. Forced air cooling or heating systems can cause gaps to naturally form at the bands during the dry season. Variations also occur naturally in the color of each wood species so may vary within a box or differ from box to box. Due to variations in monitor resolution between computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, product colors in images on the website may not match those physically received by customers. Standard Items
We are committed to customer satisfaction and sincerely hope you are happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with any item in the first 30 days following purchase, you may return it for a replacement or refund. All returned items require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number that can be obtained by contacting KHK Woodworks Customer Service or through the automated form on our Contact Us page. Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
To receive full refund of your purchase price, the item must be returned in new condition. If the item is damaged or worn, partial credit may be issued and we will retain the item. If the item is deemed unsaleable, no credit will be issued and the item will be returned to you with KHK Woodworks covering the cost of shipping. Please use the Contact Us form on our website to initiate the return process. Customers may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Custom Items
Custom or personalized items are made to order for each customer and all sales are final. Items that are defective in material or craftsmanship will be replaced free of charge within the standard warranty period. Customers disappointed for any reason with custom or personalized orders within 15 days of receipt should contact Customer Service so we can work with you to find an equitable solution.
Shipping
We offer a variety of shipping options to anywhere in the United States. Please reach out to us if your shipping destination is out of the country.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. You will receive automated shipping notifications through email. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based and are also dependent upon destination zone.
For 2017, USPS Parcel Select rates start at $6.65 for a 1 pound package and go up. The 2017 rates for UPS Ground for a 1 pound package start at $7.32 and go up. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. The following tables provide an estimate of shipping rates for carriers based on weight and zone being shipped from our headquarter location. Exact rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on package weight and size.
